Situated mere blocks from Grapevine Lake, Messina Hof Grapevine Winery is located in Historic Downtown Grapevine. The Wallis Hotel facility is our first urban winery, and it features multiple tasting areas with 40 different wines, premium flights, wine on tap, delectable small plates, wine accessories, and multiple event spaces.
The original Wallis Hotel was built in 1891 by Johnny Wallis for his sister, Susan, and it served as popular accommodations for traveling salesmen and agricultural business leaders visiting the region. The replica was built on Main Street in 1991, and Messina Hof honors this Grapevine landmark by displaying many pieces, fittings, and decor from the original.
